Characters

RICHARD Richard regains his conscience and is told by Diego where they are and what is going on. At first, Richard is reluctant to believe what he’s told, but soon he changes his mind when they start hearing gunfire coming from the exterior. Though he’s still a bit shaky, Richard decides the best to do is to go outside and fight, instead of waiting for someone to come in and off him. ZWANGA Shortly after killing Tom , Zwanga can’t stop but laughing at Lillya for her dumbfounded expression. But, though surprised, Zwanga notices that she didn’t call for help and that makes him wonder. He promises to return in an hour; by then she won’t remember anything and he’ll do with her as he pleases. DIEGO Richard, Diego and Joanna argue about the best course of action when they begin to hear gunfire coming from the exterior. Richard is in favour of a more aggressive action, but Diego and Joanna believe the best to do is wait. Diego tries to reason with Richard, but it’s hard to do that, when he has an advantage that Richard will hardly get unless he kills him and Joanna. Paul, always the strong one, taunts their ‘sensibility’ and let’s out his relationship with the military life. Paul tries to keep from saying too much, but he can’t help his pride and tells the other two what he thinks that place really is. Rez begins to lose her nerve and refers to some violent events in her past. A glimpse of a violent multiple person disorder can be perceived from that statement. Lillya reveals she’s not so innocent as she looks when she spits on him and claims she’ll be harder to kill than he thinks. As Zwanga makes his promise of returning later when her memory is gone, Lillya shows no sign of fear.
